In Entry Zero ESOL Learners can read from a variety of sources:
One significant challenge facing the teacher at this level is to encourage Learners to make the correlation and the link between language that they may understand when they hear it or see it and the written versions that are presented to them.
In Entry Zero ESOL Learners can read from a variety of sources:
- The board or flip chart used by the teacher
- Classroom activities and exercises provided on paper in class to stimulate language activity
- Classroom and other signage
- Ambient English where they are out and about in Belfast.
