Simple 3-4 line dialogues are used at the beginning of each of the lessons in Stage One, and regularly in Stages Two and Three, to introduce English language in context.

- Fine thanks, Anna. And you?
- Very well, Thank you.
- What's this, Anna?
- It's a cup, Tom. And what's that?
- It's a glass.
Uses and benefits
- Choral and individual drilling is used to provide listening and speaking practice, well before individual Learners will read or write this language
- Target grammar and vocabulary are introduced, with further practice and consolidation at later stages in the same and / or later lessons
- The dialogues will provide a basis for reading and writing exercises in Stages Two and Three.
