Arthur McKeown
Arthur began in TEFL in 1975.
He taught pharmacists in Sweden and then firemen in Kuwait.
He has been a teacher trainer to prepare candidates for the DELTA and has managed language teaching organisations on three different continents.
More recently, he was a lecturer in Management Development at Ulster University for 20 years.
He is now working as a Volunteer at the BELFAST Programme @ BURC.
His particular interest is in the teaching of English for adult Absolute Beginners – people who may sometimes be illiterate in their own first language.
